NOW OPEN U14's talent ID Program Under 14's Talent ID Program 2024

This will involve a weekly skills session and 5’s game to be held on Monday evenings starting on April 29.

It will continue for Term 2, break for NSW school holidays and resume for Term 3.

Please note that this session will replace the 2nd rep session usually scheduled for Tuesdays.

The cost is usually $10 per session (Term 2 - 11 weeks, Term 3 - 10 weeks) so would be $210.

To help support this age group and families who might be struggling in the current financial climate, Hockey Tweed are offering a 50% discount, so only charging $50 per term for a 21 week development program plus 5’s competition. We will also offer a payment plan for this if needed.

Some players may opt to only participate in Term 2 or Term 3 depending on their load.

The format is as follows:

Skills sessions: 4.30-5.15pm
The skills session will be begin at 4.30pm. Please be warmed up before this and ready to start right on 4.30pm.

Wear your club uniform and bring shin-pads, mouthguard & water-bottle.

5’s games: 5.15-6pm. Players will be divided into 4 even teams.

The games will be fast with very little break so great for skill development and fitness.

I will be running the program with the help of guest coaches. So thought I’d introduce mysef for those who haven’t met me. I have been coaching for over 30 years at club, region, and state level. My strengths as a coach are to develop basic skills and fine tune them so they show up even when under pressure or fatigued. As these progress, players will be exposed to more advanced skill development. The Tweed has been successful in producing several State and National players in the past.
